The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need, but if you don't want to cook there are multiple restaurants within walking distance.

If visiting during the winter season please be prepared. There will be signs posted stating that snow chains must be carried at all times (even for 4-wheel drive vehicles). If you don't have chains you could be turned away by the Highway Patrol.

The driveway is extremely steep and during the winter it will be icy. You won’t make it up without 4-wheel drive or chains. There is parking off the street and you can walk up stairs to get to the cabin.

Property is located in a mountain location and will receive snow during the winter months. It is possible during and/or after major storms access to Shaver Lake could be limited or restricted. If this effects your reservation please contact us and we are willing to work with you.

Please be aware that the driveway is owned by our neighbor who allows us to use it to load and unload our vehicles.   There is one parking spot at the top in the flat spot with the railroad tie retaining wall and another spot directly in front of the porch by the propane tank that we may use.  Our main parking is the parking lot down below on Tollhouse Rd.   All other areas up top and along the driveway is parking and turnaround for our neighbor.  We ask that you respect this area so they do not get blocked out of their cabin.
